This course is designed to teach students mobile, foot, and fixed surveillance operations, surveillance detection routes (SDR)/counter-surveillance, and surveillance photography. During surveillance training, students will operate as a team to conduct surveillance on students conducting SDRs. Students will also use surveillance photography skills taught during this course to capture photographic intelligence observed during surveillance and SDR operations. Students should be prepared to conduct a minimum of 4 hours of surveillance per day to include, sitting, standing, walking, and driving during the exercises. Students will be required to wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
